Product Overview
Thrust bearings are used for carrying loads in the axial direction. They are also referred to as axial bearings. Like radial bearings, a thrust bearing contains two race rings, a set of rolling elements, and, frequently a cage for retaining the rolling elements. A major distinction between an axial (thrust) bearing and a radial bearing is an arrangement of bearing race rings. In an axial bearing, the two race rings are arranged side-by-side in a parallel configuration along the axial direction. The rolling elements are sandwiched between the two race rings.
