Type B PolyPak seals add a back-bevel lip to the Deep PolyPak shape and thus align the seal interface near the centerline of the O-spring to provide increased squeeze (and sealability). This highly stable confriguration provides excellent low pressure seating as well as "super-pressure" capability. Available in all sizes from 1/8" to over 90" diameter.
Wipers are designed to prevent any contamination of the system by external particles or other environmental impacts during translatoric movements in cylinders and actuators. They also provide the static sealing function on the cylinder head versus the atmosphere. Some double-acting designs also reduce the drag oil film during outstroke.
