A common switch found in many different aircraft models. The switch housing has had a lot of material improvements making the current switch over 25% lighter. The housing is now machined from billet aluminum. The A-510-2 switch provides ON / OFF control of both magnetos on a single engine aircraft. This switch, like most key-operated switches, is mounted from the rear of the aircraft's panel with a 7/8" diameter opening. These switches are available with our without a started position on the switch.
This part number includes a switch, with Starter Position. The switch is supplied with a switch plate and two keys. It includes the diode.
