CB100-81 – Click Bond Manual Adhesive Dispenser (50ml)
Part Number: CB100-81
Manufacturer: Click Bond, Inc.
System: Adhesive Application / Fastener Bonding
Common Synonyms: 50ml Glue Gun, Manual Dual-Component Dispenser, Click Bond Applicator
Overview Section
The CB100-81 is a professional-grade manual adhesive dispenser specifically designed for the precise application of two-component aerospace adhesives.1 Manufactured by Click Bond, the industry leader in adhesive-bonded fastener technology, this tool is the primary applicator for 50ml dual-cartridges, such as the CB200 (Acrylic) and CB359 (Epoxy) series.
In the aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment, the CB100-81 is an essential tool for installing bonded nutplates, studs, and standoffs without the need for drilling holes. Its robust, lightweight construction allows technicians to apply adhesives with consistent pressure, ensuring a perfect 1:1 or 2:1 mix ratio through a static mixing nozzle.

Advanced Engineering & Structural Application
The CB100-81 is engineered for Application Repeatability. In bonded fastener technology, the structural integrity of the joint is entirely dependent on the accurate mixing and void-free application of the adhesive.
Engineering Insight: High-Thrust Ratio
The CB100-81 features a mechanical advantage linkage that provides a high-thrust ratio. This is critical when working with high-viscosity aerospace adhesives or in "cold-hangar" conditions where adhesives become thicker. The tool ensures a steady, pulse-free extrusion, which prevents air entrapment (voids) in the bond line—a leading cause of premature fastener debonding.
Universal Plunger System
This dispenser includes a versatile plunger system that can accommodate both square-back and round-back 50ml cartridges. It is easily reconfigured for different mix ratios, making it a "one-tool" solution for a wide variety of Click Bond adhesive chemistries, from rapid-set acrylics used on composite structures to high-strength epoxies used on titanium and steel.2
Application Compatibility
The CB100-81 is the mandatory tool for installing the following Click Bond components:
Bonded Nutplates: Ideal for securing panels in areas where "back-side" access is impossible.
Cable Tie Mounts: Used for securing wire harnesses inside the fuselages of Boeing, Airbus, and Gulfstream aircraft.
Surface-Mounted Studs: For mounting lightweight equipment to composite or honeycomb bulkheads.
Structural Repairs: Applying paste adhesives for localized composite skin repairs.
The Click Bond CB100-81 is the professional’s choice for precision adhesive bonding in the aerospace industry. When installing high-performance bonded fasteners, you cannot rely on standard hardware store dispensers. This tool is purpose-built to provide the steady pressure and ratio accuracy required for Click Bond’s rigorous structural standards. Whether you are working on a carbon-fiber fuselage or performing a repair on an aluminum bulkhead, the CB100-81 ensures your adhesive is mixed perfectly and applied without voids, preserving the safety and airworthiness of your aircraft.
Maintenance & Usage Addendum
Cartridge Seating: Ensure the cartridge is fully locked into the cradle before applying trigger pressure. If the cartridge is not seated, the plunger can bypass the piston, resulting in an improper mix ratio.
Nozzle Removal: Always discard the static mixing nozzle after the adhesive's "working life" has expired. Do not attempt to clean nozzles with solvent; always use a fresh nozzle for each application to guarantee a 100% thorough mix.
Cleaning: Periodically wipe the plunger rods with a light silicone lubricant to ensure smooth operation. Avoid letting cured adhesive build up on the drive teeth, as this will result in "jerky" extrusion and uneven bead thickness.
