Specifically engineered for the rigorous environment of military and commercial flight decks, this 0.250-inch (6.35mm) jack is the industry standard for secondary communication ports, oxygen mask microphone interfaces, and legacy radio systems. The "Two-Sleeve" (TS - Tip, Sleeve) architecture provides a simplified, robust signal path for non-balanced audio or simple switch-closure circuits.

Unlike standard "commercial" jacks found in consumer electronics, the JJ-034 is a "Littel-Jax" variant designed for maximum space efficiency and environmental resilience. It features a non-turn, threaded bushing for secure panel mounting and heavy-duty contact springs that maintain high "clamping" pressure.
